Jay Leno Show’s Days Over on Primetime?

Jay Leno on His Show The future of the famous American comedy show, "The Jay Leno Show" on NBC, became uncertain according to a report that says that the show will be shifting from primetime or it may be plugged off.

The trouble is supposed to be caused by starting of Winter Olympics which disturb NBC’s primetime programming for two weeks. NBC did not deny such a possibility.
The network is reconsidering its commitment to Leno at 10 p.m., with moving him back to late-night being a credible option.

In such a condition if Leno's show is shifted to 11:35 p.m. than other programs with Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon will also be shifting back a half-hour to 12:05 a.m. and 1:05 a.m., respectively.

According to the site, NBC executives have deemed Leno’s 10 p.m. show “a failure” that is not making the network money, and have decided to pull the plug. Some anonymous sources stated that the executives have not yet decided when to pull the show or what may replace it.

Opposite to it, the spokeswoman of NBC, Rebecca Marks said, "Jay Leno is one of the most compelling entertainers in the world today. As we have said all along, Jay's show has performed exactly as we anticipated on the network. It has, however, presented some issues for our affiliates. Both Jay and the show are committed to working closely with them to find ways to improve the performance."

After such speculations and news, it seems as if that the Jay Leno show's future is in trouble!
