Shahid, Genelia Spend a Night Together in a Car

Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D’Souza have spent an entire night together in a car. Don't get so much excited! The idea of spending a night together was a part of promoting their forthcoming film "Chance Pe Dance". Reportedly, they have spent Wednesday night together at the Kamalistan Studios. There were 'vada pao' (bun) vendors and 'khatiyas' (string cot) nearby for the people. We must say that this is one of the most unique promotion style applied by director Ken Ghosh. It hasn't been done before in the history of Bollywood.

In the film, Shahid plays a character of a struggler who comes to Mumbai to make an entry in Hindi films. According to the source, the idea was planned as it bears resemblance with the strugglers who come to Mumbai and try their luck in films. A source revealed that a scene in the movie depicts the authentic situation.

A source added, "This activity has similarities with our movie. In fact in his own days of struggle, Shahid used to sleep in a car many times. In the movie also, there’s a scene where these strugglers have to spend nights altogether, because they have no place to stay".

The promotion campaign reportedly continued till today morning and those who were present there shared tea and bun maska (bun and butter) with the stars.

Ken Ghosh's directorial "Chance Pe Dance" is set to release on 15th January 2010.
