Tiger Woods Donates $ 3 M for Relief Work in Haiti

>Tiger WoodsForgetting own troubles, is sending help to Haitian earthquake victims. The star golfer is reportedly donating $ 3 million to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital through Wyclef Jean Haiti relief group Yele. Wyclef Jean is a Haitian born musician, whose nonprofit organization has raised more than $ 1 m to provide relief to Haitian people.

The 34-year-old golfer is currently facing criticism from everywhere due to his infidelity. Woods has not been seen in public since he accepted the charges of infidelity. Though he is hiding from media but he came forward to help the poor people of Haiti.

The news of Wood's donation was disclosed by US musician Russell Simmons. The 52 year old, musician is regular Twitter user. He posted a message on Twitter of Woods' generous donation as, "Tiger Woods is doing something amazing! I heard Tiger Woods is donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital [to Haiti]. Keep your prayers high!"

Explaining about Woods’ donation, which would total $3 million, Russell said, "Tiger is working on sending a mobile hospital with 50 EMTs to go set up a triage. I am just asking for his heart and his hand. Just to meet the needs of the people."
