BBC has been criticized for playing a clip of Meg Ryan, which shows her faking orgasm. Reportedly, Steve Harris, the presenter of "Drivetime" on Radio Solent, has played the famous recording from the movie `When Harry Met Sally` while talking about a drug. The topic was on "Flibanserin", being heralded as the female version of 'Viagra'.
The show was bitterly criticized by Vivienne Pattison, director of campaign group Mediawatch UK.
A source quoted Harris, "think we will stop this now. This is, after all, a family show". Pattison said, "I think the BBC made a bit of an error". Vivienne continued, "If you happened to be a parent picking your child up and hearing that, you would either have had to deal with bouts of sniggering or, from a younger child, you would end up dealing with lots of questions".
A BBC spokesperson said, "We've had not a single complaint or comment".
