David Beckham will Join the Army

David BeckhamThe ace soccer superstar DAVID BECKHAM and his teammates from Galaxy will spend four days as thanks giving holidays with American troops in army base camp in Germany.

The British footballer and his Los Angles Galaxy teammates will fly to Kaiserslautern, South West Germany. Beckham and his teammates will visit the American troops from 23 to 26 November to boost up their spirits.

During the visit Beckham will spend his time with troops and their families. He will also meet the wounded soldiers at Landstuhl Regional Medical Centre.

Beckham will stay in the US army barracks to show his supports for soldiers in Afghanistan. Beckham and his teammates will also participate in a friendly soccer match against the local team of Kaiserslautern FC scheduled on 26 Nov.

Colonel Bob Stewart, Chairman of Action for Armed Forces, said that the visit will make soldiers happy and boost up their spirits.
