Oprah Winfrey to Announce Her Show’s ‘The End’

Oprah WinfreyOne of the most prestigious chat shows, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will soon go off air. Oprah has planned to end the show in 2011.

The iconic 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' entertained the viewers for over two decades. The show has successfully completed 25 seasons with many celebrity interviews. The top ranked chat show airs in more than 145 countries worldwide and followed by over 42 million viewers only in America.

According to the Harpo Productions Inc., the 55 year old Winfrey plans to announce the final date of the show during live broadcast on Friday.

Oprah Winfrey, who founded a million dollar Media Empire with powerful chat show is expected to start a new show The Oprah Winfrey Network with Discovery Communications Inc. The show is being delayed but it will start in 2011.

The CBS corporation which distributes The Oprah Winfrey Show” to more than 200 markets, has stated that, "We have the greatest respect for Oprah and wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors We know that anything she turns her hand to will be a great success. We look forward to working with her for the next several years and hopefully afterwards as well.”
