Ben Kingsley will Play Aishwarya’s ‘Eternal Lover’ in ‘Taj Mahal’

Ben KingsleyFamous Hollywood actor Ben Kingsley is going to play Aishwarya's 'eternal lover' in an upcoming movie 'Taj Mahal'.

According to reports the Aishwarya Rai and Ben Kingsley will play legendary lovers Mumtaz and Shah Jahan in movie. The talented actor Kingsley will be seen romancing with the famous Mughal queen Mumtaj Mahal, the role played by Indian beauty Aishwarya onscreen.

The film 'Taj Mahal' is reportedly produced by SBK Pictures, Kingsley`s newly established production company. The major parts of the epic film have been shot in Agra around Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri.

Talking to the reports Kingsley confirmed the news about movie and said, "It's a project on the building of the Taj Mahal. Aishwarya and I spoke about it while we were shooting 'The Last Legion' last year. She very generously agreed to do the project with me. I and Aishwarya will be playing Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. My production company is right now working with a screenwriter. I`ve clear ideas about my approach to this subject. The romance will also include Shah Jahan`s abject isolation for years in a prison cell."

About India, Kingsley told reporters that, "I`ve always been very attached to India and its people. I don't get to visit the country as often as I'd like to. This is my opportunity to do so."

Ben Kinsley is a renowned actor who played the role of Mahatma Gandhi in Richard Attenberg's 1982 movie 'Gandhi'. He has won many awards including Academy Award of best actor for film `Gandhi`.

Acknowledged for his historical roles Ben is once again ready with one more historic epic drama 'Taj Mahal'. Hope the movie repeats the success story of 'Gandhi'.
