The former teen pop star said that the show will highlight his career. After the victory Donny exclaimed "I did it" and rushed to her wife and carried her on the stage.
Donny with her professional dancing partner, Kym Johnson performed Argentine tango on the finale of the show. One of the show judge Carrie Ann Inaba appreciated the performance as "artistry in motion". The performance earned top score for the dancing couple in the finale.
The other two contestants at finale were Mya and Kelly Osbourne. Kelly Osbourne was first eliminated among the three finalists. The show picks a winner on the combined basis of judges'scores and viewer votes.
Mya with her dancing parterner Dmitry Chaplin performed jive on Tuesday. Though Mya scored highest points on Monday show but she lost to Donney on Tuesday after final performance.
After losing to Osmand, Mya said, "I'm just so happy to have made it to the finals."
There were many celebrity participants but Tom DeLay, former Congressman stole the show. Tom, who was injured and had to withdraw from the show, returned Tuesday night to perform the Texas two-step routine.
Show ended with the reunion of all the old contestants including Michael Irvin, Shawn Johnson and Jerry Rice. Celebrities like Whitney Houston and Aaron Carter also appeared in the final of the 'Dancing With The Star'.
