It seems that Nicolas Cage's financial and legal problem are yet not over. After wasting $270K on a dinosaur skull and trapped into financial crisis, Nicolas Cage faced one more blow when his ex-girlfriend came forward to sue him for $13 Million.
Cage's ex girlfriend, Christina Fulton is mother of Cage’s eldest child 18 year old Weston. She is suing the actor for fraud and breach of contract. Fulton alleged that she’s been caught in the web of his financial mismanagement and now Los Angeles court papers shows more than $1.2 million debt on her.
Cage who is alleged to be duped by a former accountant, Samuel Levin, stated in an October lawsuit that he is facing financial ruins. Nicolas recently defaulted on a $2 million loan so he currently owes $6.3 million in back taxes. To cope up with the loss Cage has begin a massive sell-off of his homes, cars, yachts and other possessions.
According to 42 year old actress Christina, a year ago Cage provided her a home in L.A. for raising their son Weston. She believed that the property was under her name. But she came to know the breach of their contract in September, when Cage allegedly sent her notice of 60-day to leave the house.
Now Fulton says she owes more than $1 million IRS, in addition to $250,000 in unpaid credit card debt. She says the credit card was supposed to be paid off regularly by Cage. But due to Cage and Levin’s negligence she has been trapped in huge debt. Fulton also said the damages to her have exceeded $13 million now.
Adding to Nicolas's trouble, his former accountant Levin has countersued Cage, by saying the actor’s financial collapse was due to his “compulsive, self-destructive spending.”
Cage’s lawyer Marty Singer tells PEOPLE: "This lawsuit is ridiculous and absurd. Nicolas Cage has given her approximately three million every year for many years, even though he was only obligated to pay her six thousand a month in child support. We expect this lawsuit to be promptly thrown out."
