Recently an affair gossip was flying around about Tiger Woods and a woman named Rachel Uchitel. But Rachel Uchitel has denied the rumor about the affair with golf star Tiger Woods. She said, "I did not have any involvement with him [Woods]. Whatever was written in the Enquirer was not said by me, it was said by two people that claimed they were friends of mine, but they're not."
Reportedly, the golfer was injured in a crash outside his home. A woman, who claimed to be a friend of Rachel, said that Uchitel was involved with Tiger Woods. The woman also told that Rachel has retained the services of a celebrity attorney as she faces the fall out over the report.
Rachel said, "I am overwhelmed, so I hired Gloria Allred to handle the situation. I don't want to get this much attention, and I wish everybody would leave me alone."
Woods has issued a statement on his Friday crash, which left damage to his vehicle and saw him knock over a fire hydrant and hit a tree.
He wrote on his website, "As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore. This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again."
Apart from the accident, Tiger criticized about the link up rumor and said it wasn't a public discussion. He wrote, "This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible."
He also denied the rumor, which alleged that his wife, Elin, had played any role in the crash.
Tiger stated, "The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false. This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be."
The crash remains under investigation.
